This painting was commissioned for the day-room/lounge of an elderly-persons ward at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
As well as creating interest and a pleasant ambience in the room, the work also has the intention of assuring and reminding the patients where they are, and secondly of stimulating their interest in eating.
It was executed in acrylics and measures 3 x 1.6 metres.
